Surprise appearances in selected outdoor spaces
FLEKK was created by dance artist Yaniv Cohen in response to the shut down of society due to the corona pandemic. The goal was to spread the joy of dancing to children in a demanding time, whilst still adhering to infection control measures and distance. Since March 13, FLEKK has appeared as a surprise to birthday children and kindergartens, and danced for them outside the windows, in gardens or backyards. First in Oslo and since then, the FLEKK project has spread to the rest of the country in cities such as Bergen, Kristiansand, Trondheim and now also to Bodø.
Now Flekk is coming to Bodø where he will collaborate with danselinjen at Bodø videregående skole og Bodø Biennale and appear in kindergartens, at the hospital, and in selected events during the festival. Stay tuned.
