Welcome to the official opening of Bodø Biennale 2020 in the new Rådhusparken and Solparken -with flavours of this year's programme and a little surprise awaiting the little ones! Pupils from Bodø School of Music and Performing Arts and pupils from the dance stream at Bodø Upper Secondary School will participate with artistic interventions, and Alice Slyngstad will perform an excerpt of the Biennale’s commission Hyper Hidro Sissy, together with local performers.

The opening speech will be held by Ellen Sæthre-McGuirk, Professor of Art and Design Education, Faculty of Education and Arts, Nord University.

Due to current infection control measures, you must register to participate in the opening. As of August 2020, we are only allowed to have a maximum of 200 spectators, so we recommend you to book early and secure your place.
