SCULPTURE - PRAM WALK | ANE ØVERÅS
Bodø Centre

Saturday 05 Sept

13:00 - 14:00

For the first time we are holding a «sculpture - pram walk» in Bodø centre. Together with artist Ane Øverås we will walk through Bodø centre and take a closer look at some of the public sculptures on display. Øverås is a sculptor herself and will take a closer look at the sculptures and the sculptors. Some works illuminate an era or remind us of people and events, whilst for other works, placement is a key factor. She looks forward to a dialogue about what you see and experience - exchange of opinions gives perspective. She hopes the sculpture walk will engage and bring joy for looking at art works in the future and to trust your own thoughts. Techniques and materiality will also be discussed.

The event is suitable for adults / parents with prams / baby carriers, who wish to participate in a pram walk with a cultural twist and insight into Bodø's sculptural world.

Additionally, a «regular» sculpture walk for adults will take place later in the afternoon, see own event with registration form.
