The performance Two duets consists of duets with mother and son, one teenager and one 8-year-old. The age difference between the children gives different perspectives on the parent-child-relationship. On stage with the dancers is also one of Norway’s most active ambient percussionists, Aleksander Kostopoulos. The safety within the parent-child relationship gives both freedom and opportunity for taking risks within the work, which is not easily found in other relations.
Two duets stages the deep, but also vulnerable, average, complicated and loving relationships between a parent and their child.
