How to travel to Bodø?
Airplane
Norwegian, SAS and Widerøe have flights to Bodø. From the airport, you can walk to the city centre. It is about a mile from the airport to the center of the city, a nice walk which takes 10-15 minutes. When you exit the main entrance at the airport, continue straight ahead, cross the "main road" and enter Hernesveien which leads you straight to the city center. Train
You can also take the train from the south to Bodø, which is the end station for the Nordlandsbanen. The train station is located to the north-east of the city center. From Bodø station there are several local and regional trains, in addition to several daily departures to Trondheim.

Speedboat
Bodø also has regular departures with speedboat. The quay is located in Bodø city center, and there are regular boats to and from the Lofoten Islands, Helgeland, Steigen, and Væran - Bodø's fantastic archipelago.
